Atlas Establishes National Accounts Department
Provides Portable Cooling Equipment to Retailers, Service Providers

Torrance, Calif., March 2009 Atlas Sales & Rentals, Inc. a leading distributor of portable air conditioning equipment, has established a full-service department to serve its growing base of retailing and other multi-location customers and service providers. Headed by national accounts manager Robert Atkocaitis, the program is supported by additional sales and technical staff and a new dedicated order processing group in the company’s Newark, Calif. office.
Atlas is the first supplier in the portable heating and cooling market to offer national account customers an integrated program that includes: (1) a single point of contact for all service needs, regardless of the number of locations; (2) customized emergency response plans; and (3) the flexibility to accommodate customers’ ordering systems, including web-based programming, for simplified order processing. Equipment is dispatched from Atlas’s large and rapidly growing network of fully stocked branch offices around the country.
